Job description
We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher who will take responsibility for inclusion and will act as the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will join the school at an exciting point in our development as we develop our vision of becoming a truly inclusive community school. Our school motto of ‘All Different: All Equal’ reflects our philosophy of welcoming and valuing children from all backgrounds. In September 2025, we will be opening our specialist provision for pupils with autism and we are already running our pilot provision, which is unique in our borough.
You will help us to fulfil our mission to provide a rich, vibrant curriculum to all of our pupils – including helping pupils learn how to work and play together and to develop their resilience and problem-solving skills. We offer a broad curriculum based on our four core values of being: Caring, Clever, Courageous and Creative. We make the most of our fantastic location near to Tower Bridge, getting out into the community and to visit the significant local landmarks as often as possible!
