Job title: Maintenance Assistant
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Location: Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall
Hours: 20 hours per week TBC, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Part Time 52 weeks

Due to growth in service, we are recruiting a Maintenance Person to join our team at Belmont Secondary School.
About the role
The post holder will:
Work within the Maintenance team to maintain a high standard of the internal and external areas across the site and support the proactive management of the school’s estate.
Ensure all stakeholders benefit from high standards of service.
Work within the Maintenance team to provide the school with a safe environment for all people – pupils, staff, visitors and contractors.
Essential
Previous experience of Maintenance work
GCSE's grade C/4 and above in English and Maths
Good inter-personal skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
Experience of working within a care and educational setting
Experience of working with listed buildings
Experience of working within a Conservation Area
Competent in the use of IT office skills
