Position: Lead Practice Nurse

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £20 - £24 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

My Client is looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join their local GP practice in Basingstoke. This position will require you to take on a lead position and be comfortable managing a team of Practice Nurses as well as working alongside other clinicians such as; Advanced Nurse practitioners, Physician associates, General practitioners as well as a core experienced administrative team. This Lead Practice Nurse position is on a permanent basis.

Duties include:

• Clinical leadership - Including: patient assessments and treatment and management
• Team coordination and management - including: supervision, training and development and wider team collaberation
• Quality and improvement - i.e Audit and monitoring
• service development
• patient education
• Confident and experienced in all regular Practice Nurse duties
