Your new role -
Data Analyst As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your work will empower decision-makers across the organisation by providing them with accurate, relevant, and well-structured information. You'll be responsible for analysing data, creating reports, and visualising trends to drive informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Interpret Data: Dive into datasets, extract meaningful patterns, and identify key trends.
- Develop and Implement Solutions: Design and implement data collection systems, databases, and data analytics strategies to optimise efficiency and quality.
- Query Execution: Craft and execute SQL queries to retrieve specific data upon request.
- Reporting and Visualisation: Present findings through well-crafted reports and visualisations.
- Quality Control: Monitor data performance and identify areas for improvement.
What you will need to succeed -
Skills and Qualifications - SQL : Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
- Power BI : Familiarity with this powerful business intelligence tool.
- Advanced Excel : Ability to manipulate and analyse data using Excel.
- Python : Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis. (Desirable)
- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to collect, organise, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Statistical Knowledge : Understanding of statistical concepts and experience using statistical packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).
