Job description
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification Lead the development and updates of the biobank documentations including laboratory manuals, guidance documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs) in adherence with the current legislation on HTA, GLP and GCP in regard to all tasks undertaken for biological specimen handling, processing and storage. Responsible for the data and quality management of all data under the biobank, in accordance with GCP, IG and QA guidelines and ongoing quality control procedures. Overall oversight to ensure integrity of samples is maintained and samples are transported to an appropriate storage facility in a timely fashion. Manage, escalate and document any deviations from protocol, informing the Biobank Manager at the earliest opportunity.
