Job description

As the leading agency within Psychological Therapies recruitment, Pulse are inundated with requests for mental health professionals. 

Pulse is currently seeking a Band 8a Educational/Organistaional Psychologist to within a specialist team based within the Durham area. The post is to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an ongoing period. Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

A workplace needs assessment aims to document an employee’s history and past support. By understanding the job requirements outlined in their job description, identify any obstacles they face in fulfilling their role. This process allows for recommendations on reasonable adjustments to alleviate these barriers.
Looking to pay for 1.5 hours of work:
Information will be obtained before the assessment.
1 hour to assess the client.
30 mins to write a report (template can be provided)

Some reports may be needed to secure an Access To Work (ATW) grant.
Can you confirm if your clinicians have a Specific Learning Difficulty (SPLD) certificate?
Can you confirm if your clinicians hold British Dyslexia Association (BDA) registration?

The successful therapist will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing a high intensity CBT service to children and young people that have a range of mild to moderate mental health conditions.

It is essential that the CBT therapist has experience within a CAMHS environment, as well as a BABCP accreditation to be considered for this role.
