Job description

Our client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit a Service Delivery Analyst, Guernsey. This is a fairly junior role, with 1-2 years of relevant experience required. A relevant qualification would be highly regarded. This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey or Jersey.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within the IT field, with knowledge of Microsoft products and exceptional customer service skills as they deliver quick efficient fulfilments and incident resolutions to the business at first point of contact, whilst maintaining high quality and standards.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Deliver first point of contact support for all of the IT services consumed by the business
• Utilising the Group’s Service Delivery tool “Ivanti”, provide effective prioritisation and resolution of Service Requests and Incidents for all jurisdictions, with a focus on achieving high resolutions at first contact
• Deploy and maintain all end user hardware and software, and accurately manage the IT asset inventory
• Build a strong collaborative relationship with business users and gain a good understanding of the business needs that are supported, to support the ‘Follow the Sun’ model

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ of experience within an IT Environment
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office products
• A positive and proactive approach to service delivery
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities plus attention to detail
• Ability to focus under pressure
• ITIL Foundation Certificate would be an advantage but is not essential
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with immediate colleagues and end-users
• Strong teamwork skills and demonstrate the ability to work independently when required
