As part of the Estates team, you'll play a crucial role in collecting and maintaining data related to our diverse property portfolio, including leases, licences, and project information. This is an opportunity to shape the focus of data management systems, contribute ideas for improvement, and be a trusted advisor on data practices.

What you’ll be doing

Working with us will give you a chance to build on your skills in improving information systems, from how it is collected, stored, used, analysed and reported. This will be an opportunity to grow our property information and support decision-making within our Capital and Maintenance projects.

This is an opportunity for a Database/ Information Officer with an interest in estates and property to support the improvement of data collected and maintained across the Estates team at the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST).

The Estates team deals with all property related matters to ensure that the Trust’s interests and its estate is developed and maintained to agreed standards. The estate consists of 23 schools, two academies and the Trust Office based in Victoria.

As the Estates Information Officer, you will be responsible for collecting and maintaining the estates data to include leases, licences, property information as well as project information ranging from maintenance projects to major capital development projects.

The role is key in supporting the improvement of data collection and use within the team and you will have the opportunity to shape its focus, while looking for opportunities to improve effectiveness, reduce duplication and act as a trusted advisor on data management systems, bringing ideas about opportunities for improving ways of working.
