Salary: Grade 1 - £12.00
Post A - 1 x Permanent role (12 hours per week), part time on 4-week rota pattern.
Wk 1: Friday 10am – 4pm, Saturday 10am – 4pm.
Wk 2: Thursday 10am – 4pm, Friday 10am – 4pm.
Wk 3: Friday 10am – 4pm, Saturday 10am – 4pm.
Wk 4: Friday 10am – 4pm, Sunday 10am – 4pm.
Post B - 1 x Fixed Term Contract role (1 April 2024 – 31 October 2024) part time on 2-week rota pattern.
Wk 1: Thursday 10am – 4pm, Friday 10am – 4pm, Sunday 10am – 3pm.
Wk 2: Wednesday 10am – 3pm, Saturday 10am – 3pm.
Additional Requirement to work Monday’s and Tuesday’s during school holidays (10am – 3pm).
Post C - 2 x Flexible Contracts
Permanent flexible shift workers required - working 10am – 3pm, various days – minimum 2 shifts per month with extra shifts available.

Reporting to the Visitor Experience Manager, these varied roles are pivotal in creating the NMRN’s vision to become the world’s most inspiring Naval Museum.
Key Opportunities
Ability to work as part of a great team engaging with visitors and ensuring they are receiving a high quality service within a unique heritage working environment.
This is a varied role with the opportunity to work in our shop, cafe and within our galleries.
Assist in the safety and security for visitors, staff and property.
To deliver unique, consistent and high levels of visitor experience and satisfaction, in line with the ethos and branding of NMRN.
Be willing to be trained in our fire evacuation procedure and be confident to put this knowledge into practise during fire drills and genuine evacuations.
Knowledge/Experience
Experience of working in a customer focused environment with retail and sales knowledge is an advantage.
Display an interest in developing knowledge of the Royal Navy’s stories and heritage to share with visitors and colleagues.
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and Security requirements and a willingness to learn more.
