Job description
Do you have lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery?
Are you ready to give something back? Do you wanting to develop your skills and take on a bit of challenge?
We are looking women with previous lived experience to become part of our volunteer team and specifically support our female residents.
Responsibilities
- demonstrating visible recovery and acting a positive role model as you support people in recovery and the wider service
- supporting and playing a vital role in helping people coming into our recovery houses to feel welcome and safe
- assisting with the delivery of recovery group sessions
- helping out with day-to-day tasks within the service
- offering a listening ear and ad hoc support to people using our services
- helping us to promoting the service
