Job description

The Service This is an exciting development for EIP services in Kent and Medway following recent investment to develop an At Risk Mental State Service (ARMS). This new multi-professional service will provide comprehensive assessment and formulation for people aged 14 to 35 years who are at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis. Treatment includes CBT for psychosis and co-existing mental health needs; family interventions/carers support, and a psycho-social therapeutic program that is trauma informed. The ARMS service will work collaboratively with other service providers including ChYPS, Substance Misuse Services and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) services (Live Well Kent and Medway, MIND) and the 18-25 pathway for young people. This will not only allowquick easy access to treatment but enhance support for the delivery of the psychosocial offer to young people in schools, colleges, universitiesand local communities.
