Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced NEC4 Project Manager for a contract role in Peterborough. The role involves administering a contract with a design and build contractor, focusing on the detailed design and construction stages. As an NEC4 Project Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of a large infrastructure project, working closely with the Design Manager and managing contract elements related to the project.

Key Responsibilities
- Administering all contract elements related to the delivery of the infrastructure project, ensuring adherence to the project programme and closely collaborating with the Design Manager
- Overseeing the delivery of highways and construction documents produced by the appointed Design and Build contractor, ensuring completion to a high standard
- Managing communication and change control between the client and the contractor
- Reviewing and accepting the contractor's programme
- Providing input to and reviewing planning application documents, including the Environmental Statement
- Using CEMAR to manage contracts
Job Requirements
- Chartered Engineer or similar level of qualifications and proven work experience
- Knowledge of Contracts and Contract Management, specifically NEC4 Contract
- Experience in using CEMAR to manage contracts
Additional Information
The initial period for this role is 2 weeks in Norwich (which can be split into two one–week sessions). Following that, it requires one day per month of travel to the clients office in Norwich.
