Job description
HISTORY TEACHER
A high achieving all-girls school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a History Teacher to start after the half-term. You will be teaching history at mostly KS3. This is a long-term full-time opportunity that would run until at least the end of the academic year. The school is easily accessible by public transport from the surrounding areas of London. If you’re a History Teacher looking for a new opportunity at a ‘Good’ school this could be the role for you.
The Role:
Strong knowledge of the history curriculum.
Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience a History Teacher at secondary level.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
