Do you have experience of operating within a finance management role? Are you looking for flexible part time hours? The Recruitment Co. are currently recruiting for one of our key clients in Sale and this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all financial and banking matters
- Preparation and report management accounts with full balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly reporting on sales reps performance.
- Interpret financial information to support the directors with timely and accurate financial information
- Cash flow and budget management and forecasting and treasury management
- Collect and analyse financial information to support commercial decision making
- Sales ledger / journal control / revenue recognition
- Ensure all statutory requirements are met re. HMRC (VAT, PAYE, P11Ds, Annual Accounts, ONS surveys, audits)
- Day to day financial operations within the Company including invoicing, and other transactions
- Banking / reconciliation IF bank ledgers to accounts and submit each month
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the Company
- Purchase ledger, general creditor maintenance and payment runs
- Preparing debtor and creditor reports and produce cash flow forecasts on a monthly basis
- Support ad hoc financial information requests as and when required
- Develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
- Line manage and develop the accounts team
- Maintain an awareness of changes in financial regulations and legislation
The Person:
- AAT qualification is essential
- ACCA, full or part, accredited is desirable
- Knowledge and experience of accounting principles and finance operations
- Respect and excellent understanding for financial regulations and legislation
- Commercial and business awareness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Analytical approach to work
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Methodical problem-solving skills
- Able to use initiative
- Has negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
- Meticulous attention to detail and an investigative nature
