Weekend Doll is an exciting, growing company that runs a vintage-inspired, retro women's online clothing store. We’re looking for a reliable, creative and proactive Production and Ecommerce Intern with a passion for 1940s and 50s fashion/culture to assist us in building our sustainable range collection and ecommerce site.
This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to not only work, but gain insight into the fashion production process in the UK and abroad for a consumer direct brand and entrepreneurial business and development.
Responsibilities:
- Design, print research (shapes, colour, apparel, graphics, trims, accessories etc).
- Assist in sourcing fabrics and materials
- Liaising with factories in the UK & Aboard, e.g. taking photos, creating packing lists, booking couriers, and visiting factories
- General studio assistance, organising stock and orders, keep tidying the studio.
- Preparing tech packs
- Attending fit meetings
- Assisting in quality control checks
- Assisting in creating engaging social media and e-commerce content
- Assisting in creating E-commerce images and working at backends.
- Customer service and assisting in the wholesale business.
Requirements:
- Passion for 1940s and 50s fashion/culture
- Able to work 4/5 days per week for a minimum of 8 months
- Proficient in Photoshop
- Sewing skills
- Excell and Words
