About The Role

About you

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
• Previous experience in complex care (desirable)
• Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families

Role of a Nurse

• Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
• Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
• Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants on shift
• To ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner

Hours of work:

Day shifts:07.45 to 20.15 (12.5 hour shift)

Night shifts: 19.45 to 08.15 (12.5 hour shift)

Induction

Due to our training programme, we would require all Bank employees to attend a 4-day induction prior to starting employment. This induction will be paid for and typically takes place Tuesday to Friday 09.30 to 16.30. If you are working another full-time role, please take this into account when applying to the position as this induction is mandatory.

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare Group provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.

Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them unsuitable to live in dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.

We currently have 4 homes based in Wincanton, Portsmouth, Southampton and Surrey and are in the process of building another new homes in Bristol which is due to open in late 2024.
