Job description
Site Manager - Required for our client to join them at their office in Hook. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor and are one of the largest privately-owned waste management companies in the South of England and a leading demolition specialist nationwide. In addition to this, they are also producers of premium recycled aggregates and award-winning ready mix concrete products using demolition waste.
The successful candidate will have extensive demolition experience and will be responsible for the on-site management of projects ensuring delivery in a safe and efficient manner, on time and within budgets.
Site Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary: £50k - £60k DOE

Site Manager Position Overview
- Ensuring that the site is managed compliantly within Company management systems and legislation.
- Managing various demolition activities, soft strip, non-licensed asbestos removal, structural demolition, reduce dig, crushing and pile mat installations etc.
- Providing details for the contracts manager to be able to produce short-term programmes for specific work areas.
- HSQE compliance and completing all site management HSQE inspections and reports.
- Recording and monitoring the quality of the works through progressive stages of the test and inspection plans; the objective being to produce a quality job, first time.
- Communicating any changes/updates directly with members of the site team.
- Management of any site staff absence.
- Working towards and reporting against target construction programmes available from contract information
Site Manager Position Requirements
- Demolition Experience
- Membership to Institution of Demolition Engineers (or working towards achieving this) Desirable
- Asbestos Awareness, Non - licensed Asbestos removal training
- CCDO Black Managers Card
- First Aid Training
- Must hold a full driving UK licence
