Assistant Management Accountant - Permanent Position (Hybrid Work Model) - Study Support

Location: Tamworth - Hybrid
Compensation: Up to £30,000 + Study Support
Work Schedule: Full Time - Permanent Role

Robert Half is delighted to be working with a dynamic and expanding organisation to hire an Assistant Management Accountant based in Tamworth. This permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement and involves reporting directly to the UK Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in submitting monthly management accounts.
• Support the Finance Manager during the annual audit.
• Process supplier invoices for approval.
• Accurately record and post banking transactions and relevant journals in the accounting software.
• Assist the Credit Controller with accounts receivables.

Skills and Qualifications:

• AAT or similar qualification; aspiring to progress in accounting qualifications.
• Essential prior experience in a similar position.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel, with a working knowledge of VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
• Strong communication skills, a team player, and meticulous attention to detail.
