Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
Pay £10.90 per hour (salary £21,314 rising to £23,366 from 1st April) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Want to be part of a team that really cares and empowers you to help change a customer’s life for the better? You can do that as our Support Worker.
You’ll be part of a team of Support Workers and Coordinators centred around our customers needs, which may include, substance misuse, mental health related issues, housing and finance related support.
You will be at the heart of supporting our customers, who have experienced homelessness, helping them to overcome barriers to live independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know!
This is not a CQC service and does not involve personal care.
Typical day as our Support Worker
• Helping customers with activities such as completing housing related support, budgeting and benefits, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation.
• Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
• Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to work together with colleagues too.

You bring.
• Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail.
• Experience of supporting others, you may have worked in housing or have experience of supporting others such as family members or friends.
• The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
• Recognise every customer is different and you’re able to adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs.
Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role.  This remains under regular review.

You’ll join our team, 3 coordinators with over 20 years of experience between them, Senior Clients service manager and service manager along with our mental health practice lead and support workers, peer mentors and activities are all here to support you as you make yourself at Home!
Job details
• You will work on a rota basis to meet the needs of our service; however, we are flexible so may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
• Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
