Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst (Finance) will be:
- Represent the IT and Business systems team within the Finance and Accounting teams to review current practices, and make recommendations to use existing systems and controls to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with Business Systems Analyst and the Business Process Manager to understand the company process and procedures, to focus on bringing process and best practice efficiencies to everyday tasks
- Assist in directing Business Systems strategy, by recommending new initiatives that leverage existing investments first, and suggesting alternative approaches where appropriate
- Provide Technical support for current Infor System 21 and related ancillary systems
- Identify new business system requirements and build business cases for inclusion into the IT and Business Systems strategic plan
- Coordinate and plan Systems implementations in line with approved IT and Business Systems strategic plan.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Systems Analyst (Finance) will have:
- Knowledge and experience of common finance and account processes and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience of ERP System, Infor System 21 software.
- Experience with data analysis and automation tools.
- Strong knowledge and experience of using the standard Microsoft Stack, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills, written and telephone.
- Quick to grasp new ideas and concepts
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Flexible working attitudes
- Aptitude for working under pressure in a structured, efficient manner.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive approach to work and to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a team, under pressure and to tight deadlines.

What's on Offer
On offer for the successful Business Systems Analyst (Finance) is a salary of circa £55,000 depending on experience along with an extensive benefits package which will be disclosed upon application.
