Job description
In this Senior Finance Analyst position, you will have the opportunity to analyse different product lines and play a role in influencing the client product offering. You will use your finance skills and acumen to develop pricing which maximise returns. This is an exciting time as the business undergoes a major strategic transformation to position itself for the future.
The role:
• Support the development of product pricing for specific areas of the business utilising finance knowledge to maximise the offering.
• Support and partner with operational teams to achieve their strategic objectives
• Delivering analysis, modelling and scenario planning to inform decisions.
• Partner with finance and operations to deliver strategies / initiatives.
• Utilise key value levers and use financial analytics to identify opportunities to improve business performance.
The person:
• Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) – could be straight out of practice or already operating in industry.
• Ability to communicate and present effectively – used to translating financial information into meaningful information for non financial stakeholders.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to balance conceptual work with hands on delivery. Able to operate in an environment when there is not always a ‘right’ answer.
• Able to evidence developing and introducing new or innovative practices/processes to support the delivery strategic business goals.
• Flexibility and capability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks to strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong influencing skills – using data and industry knowledge to inform business decisions.
• An effective team player and actively develop and support team members.
