Are you a skilled financial professional looking to make a meaningful impact in education? CloudStone Education are recruiting for a vibrant school based in the borough of Lambeth and is on the search for a Finance Manager.
As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the school's financial operations. From budgeting and forecasting to financial reporting and compliance, you'll ensure the effective stewardship of our resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare accurate financial reports for stakeholders, including senior leadership and governing bodies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in financial management
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to optimise financial processes and support organisational goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the education sector
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
