Taxi Vehicle Fitter required in Heathrow
- Salary: £34,000pa
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday ONLY 8.30 - 5.30pm
Our client is an Automotive Specialist which specialises in fitting London taxi’s with equipment such as CCTV, Alarms, payment machines etc. They are actively looking to hire a Taxi Vehicle Fitter to join their team based in the Heathrow area.
Key Responsibilities of a Taxi Vehicle Fitter:
- Installing vehicle CCTV, DVR/DVS Systems, telematics or/and vehicle trackers and running associated cabling and mounting equipment.
- Install, maintain and remove payment terminals and taxi meters.
- Assist the fleet manager to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy as per the guidelines.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of products are maintained and replenished in a timely manner.
- Produce and repair cables and other related components.
- Accurately, manage, organise, and update, any relevant data using the company database applications.
- Work in a team to investigate and problem solve any issues that may arise whilst installing or replacing/repairing equipment.

- Working Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
- Competitive Salary up to £34,000 basic p.a. (salary offered will be dependent on skill set).

The successful Taxi Vehicle Fitter will ideally have 3 years relevant experience in 12v and 24v auto electrics, a good auto electrical knowledge along with a logical approach to installing and fault-finding technical products. They will be self-motivated with the drive to provide first class-customer service!
