About Our Client
Renewable energy business based in the Guildford area is recruiting a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director.
Job Description
- Assist FD with cash planning and reporting for projects to enable efficient utilisation of investor funds and monitor under / overspend against the construction budgets.
- Assist Finance Director with administering the finance function, ensuring all necessary processes are established to enable smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist Finance Director to ensure compliance with all necessary reporting requirements and obligations.
- Responsible for any necessary financial reporting
- Provide financial oversights
- Providing oversight of the external accounting provider and answering any of their queries to enable the preparation of the management, statutory accounts, VAT returns etc.
- Orchestrate the financial audit and tax reporting
- Monitor financial performance against the budget / business case / financial model.
- Provide operational support such as performance analytics as required.
- Maintain good relationships with the investors and act as a point of contact on financial matters relating to performance.
- Act as a business partner to the operational directors, monitoring ongoing developments against budget.
- Ensure financial compliance with Project.
- Work with commercial team

Qualified accountant with strong experience including modelling
What's on Offer
This role is available on either a part or full time basis. Salary of £60,000 - £90,000 plus 20% bonus potential and benefits.
