Job Purpose
This role is to assist and report to the Marketing Manager Europe in the development and implementation of Fernox marketing strategy and product launch plans with responsibility for designated global markets. Covering all areas of the marketing mix, the focus of this role is to expand and strengthen the Fernox brand in key territories. The challenge is to align the marketing activity with the requirements of the geographical business area and product focus with specific attention to the cultural, educational, and business requirements of the target markets.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan for the growth and development of the Fernox business and constituent brands in the designated markets.
- Define and implement integrated marketing strategy, inclusive of digital tactics and marketing activities for all identified countries to deliver the agreed strategic goals.
- Coordinate the design and production of Fernox on and offline product collateral and technical data sheets, POS material and display graphics, inclusive of photography, video and presentation materials to serve target markets, ensuring brand identity, compliance with regulations and legislation are met together with independent approvals and accreditations.
- Coordinate the content, design, translations, and development of marketing communications collateral.
- Liaise with external agencies, designers, photographers, and suppliers to ensure timescales, budgets and briefs are met and delivered to the agreed job specification.
- Work with the external PR and social media agency's.
- Maintain Marketing Basecamp data and processes, purchase requisition documentation and invoicing.
- Support sales team on trade marketing, channel support and sales promotions through the OEM, distributor and merchant network.
- Liaise with Sales Country Managers, Product Management, Technical, Operations, and Production regarding packaging, H&S, PDS updates and other amends to the MEIS product range as necessary.
- Manage usage of digital and e-mail marketing including social media campaigns to ensure engagement with all target Fernox customer databases.
- Assist in managing key projects such as new product launches, events, & local and international exhibition programme.
- Feedback information to ensure the website content communicates effectively the Fernox brand messaging & guidelines.
- Review & analyze campaign and general marketing metrics to optimize performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years brand or product Marketing experience within a Manufacturing business would be beneficial

- You must be assertive with exceptional relationship and networking skills. You must have an executive presence and be politically savvy to expand relationships to upper and senior-level management within our strategic accounts.

- Creative and pragmatic marketeer who is a capable of thinking outside of the box in delivering brand and marketing messages to objectives set.
- Enthusiastic and energetic approach with the ability to multi- task and work on several projects simultaneously.
- Strong marketing skills and experience of a busy, global marketing department with a willingness to learn industry specific knowledge.
- To judge the most effective way to resolve and overcome design issues with the development and branding of product collateral across all marketing channels on and off -line.
- Business processes - proactively work to develop and support business processes that add value to the Fernox business.
- To plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously and liaise with colleagues within MEIS marketing and sales teams, third parties and stakeholders as appropriate.
Competencies
- To be degree educated or of degree calibre, preferably with a business, marketing, or design qualification.
- A minimum of five years of experience in product or brand marketing.
- Language skills: particularly Western Europe (French, Italian, German is an asset).
- Visual and creative flair is prerequisite.
- Experience and interest in digital marketing and social media communication channels
- Knowledge of print production.
- A high standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Well organised, with an excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Proficient in desk top publishing or design packages such as In-design and Photoshop an advantage. To be willing to train on new software packages as appropriate.
- Excellent communicator: written and verbal and to able to be customer facing, as necessary.
- Commitment – a self-starter with a desire to take ownership of projects and work through to conclusion.
- To report to the Marketing Manager Europe but to be a team member working collegiately with colleagues across the global MEIS marketing team.
