Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skillset within a Senior MI Analyst role. Our Newcastle MI team deals with all aspects of claims as well as having exposure to other areas of the business. The successful candidate will carry out analysis for management across the Group as well as external partners and will have strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out data production for management at all levels
- Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports for telephony and claim handling performance
- Design and supply spreadsheets/databases to help deliver the above
- Develop data production models to aid in data analysis
- Develop and carry out methods to ensure data privacy
- Identify and analyse trends and predictions to help the management planning process
- Identify process strengths and development areas
- Review and streamline BI processes
- Coach fellow team members in BI requirements and BI production
- Work with IT and other business partners to design and provide reports to extract data from systems
- Proactively identify, manage and mitigate business risks encountered as part of your day to day role
Required Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience using data visulization tools, such as – PowerBI, QlikSense or Tableau
- Ability to analyse data from a business request and provide valuable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mentoring/coaching experience advantages
- Ability to adapt style and approach to the audience and message being delivered
- Willingness to develop in a varied role and provide management cover for Team Manager when required
- Hybrid working – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home
