Up to £63,000 depending on experience, up to £5,000 relocation support, plus benefits

Rae Bean and Partners welcomes an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to our thriving small animal first opinion clinic located in the picturesque Boroughbridge, near York. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our team in a busy rural practice, offering flexibility in shifts and an enticing array of benefits. Role Overview

• Small animal first opinion clinic
• Flexible shifts with no out-of-hours commitment
• Rota includes one Saturday morning every three weeks (9 am - 1 pm)
• Ideally 4 days a week, with flexibility for the right candidate

About Us

At Rae Bean and Partners, our state-of-the-art facilities include:
• 3 consult rooms
• In-house fully equipped laboratory with IDEXX, Haematology, Biochemistry & urinalysis capabilities
• CR X-Ray machine
• New Ultrasound machine
• Dental Machine
• Oxygen Concentrator
• Multi-Parameter Anaesthesia Monitoring Machine

Situated in the charming town of Boroughbridge, adjacent to the A1M in North Yorkshire and on the banks of the River Ure, we offer a beautiful work environment just minutes away from junctions 48 and 49. Established for over 100 years, our practice combines a rich history with modern veterinary excellence. We collaborate with Swift referrals and benefit from IVC Evidensia support, including Vetlexicon available in practice.

• 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, and a dedicated support team of 8

• Balanced workload between consulting and theatre time

What we’re looking for in you

The role may involve some sole charge work. While previous consulting experience is preferred, it is not essential. A generous CPD allowance is provided, and we actively support colleague development. Currently, one of our vets is studying for Cert AVP.
