About the role

Connex Education are seeking an experienced and resilient Cover Supervisor to join our team at a challenging secondary school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and focused learning ensuring the smooth running of classes during teacher absence. This role will be working across KS3 and KS4.

Assignment Details

This role will start as soon as possible and will last until the Easter break, with a view to continue until the end of the academic year.

Person Specification

• Previous experience working in a challenging secondary school environment is advantageous.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A degree in education or a related field is desirable.
• Minimum 3 months experience in a cover supervisor role.
• Driving license (Preferred).
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
• An outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations.
