Lead Brand Designer
London (5 days onsite)
Initial 3-month contract
Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a reputable organisation who are seeking Lead Brand Designer.
You will have extensive understanding of brand and visual UI design for digital products and services. A balanced understanding of UX and UI design, content and brand marketing.
Responsibilities will include:
- Help shape the brand strategy for the business, combining creative storytelling and powerful visuals in clear and memorable ways
- Work collaboratively with marketing, design and content, to lead and create a new visual brand identity for our products and services across touchpoints
- Create various brand design deliverables like brand colour palette, iconography guidelines, imagery guidelines, and tone of voice principles, aligned with marketing goals and strategy
- Create and document brand guidelines and principles to uphold brand consistency and excellence of our deliverables
- Have a clear understanding of the business drivers behind product goals and how the brand can help elevate it
- Support and consult how brand should be applied to our Design System
- Work closely with leads to ensure deliverables are consistent with the brand
- Manage stakeholders and proactively solve issues affecting timelines and deliverables
- Present and communicate work and recommendations to team members the wider organisation
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in roles such as Lead Visual UI & Brand designer/Lead Visual designer, UI & Brand, experience at client side is beneficial.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of brand, visual UI design fundamentals (colour palette, iconography, typography, structure and visual hierarchy) and solid application of user interface and marketing deliverables
- Strong portfolio of work/case studies demonstrating your principles and how visual brand has been created and applied across various touch points
- Experience in creating Brand and Visual UI design using input from user research, marketing and business needs
- Experience in creating brand and visual UI design principles for Design Systems, component libraries, style guides, and documentation.
- Effective communication of visual brand design across roles & levels.
- Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies, and their application and relevance to digital experiences.
- Expert knowledge of modern design tools (we use Figma), prototyping software and Design Systems
