Job Summary
This role is responsible for engaging our portfolio of existing synergy2 clients, with a focus on identifying opportunities and securing additional revenue (in line with sales target). The role also holds a position on our Product Board which is responsible for producing investment proposals for our release-based product, synergy2.
Role Requirements
- Responsible for engaging existing clients with a focus on securing additional revenue in line with Sales targets.
- Utilising excellent negotiation skills which will be used to agree commercials, and from time to time, revise contractual terms and conditions.
- Deal with clients personally up to and including executive/'C' suite.
- Building excellent, professional, relationships with all customers and at Exec / 'C' level.
- Promoting the value of new releases / upgrades to customers on the release-based version of the product (synergy2) to secure revenue through regular client upgrades.
- To ensure full collaboration with the Senior Leadership team as well as ensuring full collaboration and effective working across teams.
- As a member of the synergy2 product board, contribute to the production of product investment proposals.
- Provide accurate and timely management information in line with KPI's.
- Drive change and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver enhanced performance throughout the company.

Your profile
- Excellent client engagement skills
- Proven sales experience and a track record of delivering against target
- Excellent administrative and reporting skills.
- Highly organised and disciplined
- Strategic Planning
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Experience and sound understanding of software Agreement T&C’s
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Development role
- Sound understanding of the (re)insurance sector
- Sound knowledge of technology and cloud services
- Experience of building excellent relationships at Exec / 'C' level (internal and external)
Nice to haves
- Awareness of market initiatives and trends within the (re)insurance sector
- Educated to degree level
