This is an opportunity for a bright and driven individual to join a leading award-winning, employee owned food business. With an international supply base in over 20 countries, our client is exponentially growing year on year, increasing their presence in the UK Food Industry.
This position is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working within a team of four.
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000
The Role
- Processing all customer orders and liaising with customers and the warehouse to ensure that KPIs are consistently met
- Ensuring orders are processed from the earliest BBE batches and raising any potential issues with supplier BBE dates
- Liaising with relevant parties in preparing shipping instructions and tracking shipments
- Ensuring that all incoming documentation is processed correctly and that all checklists are fully completed
- Making all relevant enquiries to ensure import documentation is correct and compliant with current regulations
- Liaising internally when preparing shipping instructions and tracking shipments
- Assisting in tracking all shipments within the supply chain from point of supply, up to delivery to the customer ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved to avoid delays
- Accurately recording all products delivered at the warehouse and ensuring all delivery paperwork is received correctly including BBE dates
- Reconciling stock reports to third party warehouse each week and promptly following up on any discrepancies
- Compiling customer weekly sales reports and distributing to senior management
The Person
- 2.1 or above in a relevant degree or we will consider suitably experienced candidates without a degree
- Previous experience of dealing with customers/clients and working with highly detailed information
- Thorough attention to detail, comfortable working with financials
- Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with suppliers and internal colleagues
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good computer skills
