Our award-winning client has just celebrated 12 years in business and is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team responsible for flood risk and drainage. Open to either a Senior or Principal Engineer The salaries are set as: Senior: £33,000 to £44,000 per annum Principal: £44,000 to £55,000 per annum Location: Exeter Working Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours, Hybrid working opportunities About you An accomplished Civil Engineer with more than 7 years of experience in development planning, you’ll have comprehensive knowledge of flood risk assessment process, drainage design and strategy. As a Project Manager, you’ll be a team player, friendly and approachable and passionate about what you do, inspiring those in your team. Time management is vital in this role due to working across several projects simultaneously. You’ll be well-versed in report writing, including analytics, numeracy and commercial awareness. You will be proficient in CAD work and feel comfortable checking the work of others, making suggestions or providing feedback if necessary. Benefits package 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. About the role This role is a Project Manager position within the team overseeing flood risk and drainage across a range of development and multi-disciplinary projects. Ensuring that projects are delivered in line with company best practice and within the agreed deadline. As a manager, you’ll play a part in the development of junior staff, including mentoring and training, as well as offering technical support to the senior management team. Client management is crucial to this position as you’ll be liaising with stakeholders and clients and coordinating inputs from across your team.
