Senior Buyer

PSi Talent has formed a partnership with a leading global provider of high-performance products products, catering to critical sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, Energy, Industrial, Medical, and Motorsport. Our client has announced an exciting opportunity for the role of Technical Buyer, this role is designed for someone who has both experience with technical buying and planning.

Senior Buyer Responsibilities include:

• Buying and Delivery
• Supplier and Material Management
• Data Maintenance
• Lean Management

Senior Buyer Desirables include:

• Tenacious and creative approach to supplier negotiations
• CIPS or similar qualifications (desirable)
• Innovative, entrepreneurial and comfortable challenging the status-quo
• Commercially focussed and results orientated
• A passion for customer service and P&L improvement
• Data driven mindset demonstrated by strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong communication skills to strengthen supply chain relationships
• A team player capable of working on their own initiative

Senior Buyer's Essentials include:

• Technical Buying experience 3 years
• A track record of consistently exceeding commercial targets.
• Experienced with business development and/or commercial tasks.
• Experience with Lean management tools
• ERP Systems
• Commercial acumen and negotiation
  
   

Senior Buyer's Schedule-  Monday-Friday 37.5 Hours
