Job Description
The role of the Infrastructure Consultant will be a hands-on technical role and will include maintaining and enhancing internal and external systems as well as, driving business functionality. You will lead strategic optimization efforts towards a flexible, cost-efficient future. Manage end-to-end product implementations, provide top-tier customer support, and contribute expertise to project design and delivery.
- System Maintenance : Ensure the continual functionality of internal and external systems crucial for business operations.
- Strategic Optimization : Actively contribute to advancing flexibility and cost-efficiency in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Infrastructure Enhancement : Identify and implement enhancements to streamline and improve existing infrastructure.
- Project Involvement : Participate in the planning and execution of solutions design and implementation projects.
- Customer Support : Provide comprehensive support to the diverse customer base, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- End-to-End Implementation Management : Oversee the entire life cycle of product implementations, from assessment to customer support.
- Consultative Engagement : Consult with customers to ensure successful deployment of products, offering guidance and insights.
- Operational Management : Manage multiple assignments, both remotely and on-site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Project Delivery : Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of project scopes, monitoring progress and addressing any deviations.
- Risk Management : Identify and promptly report risks or issues, taking proactive measures to resolve them efficiently.
- Subject Matter Expertise : Develop deep expertise in products and contribute to enhancing best practices, documentation, and knowledge base content

Essentials: - Substantial experience in Technical Infrastructure Support: Demonstrated track record of at in technical Infrastructure or Cloud support roles, showcasing proficiency and expertise.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear and concise interactions.
- Excellent Prioritisation Skills: Strong capability to prioritise tasks effectively, adhering to deadlines and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Microsoft Servers and Active Directory Knowledge: Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Servers and Active Directory, demonstrating competency in system administration.
- Networking Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of networking principles, encompassing LAN, WLAN, WAN, and other connectivity technologies.
- Microsoft M365 Suite Proficiency: Ability to support and implement solutions utilizing the Microsoft M365 suite, including Teams, Exchange365, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Intune: Practical experience utilising Intune for device management and application deployment.
- Windows Defender 365 Support: Capability to monitor and support Windows Defender 365, ensuring robust security measures are in place.
- Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Hands-on experience supporting infrastructure on Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure, demonstrating proficiency in cloud technologies.
- IT Security Principles: Sound understanding of IT security principles, ensuring compliance and safeguarding against potential threats.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and documentation.
- Self-Motivated and Passionate: Intrinsic drive and enthusiasm for the role, displaying self-motivation and a passion for technology.
- Technical Documentation Skills: Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs and network diagrams, to facilitate understanding and communication.
- Problem-Solving and Consultative Skills: Strong aptitude for problem-solving and a consultative approach, enabling effective resolution of issues and proactive engagement with stakeholders.

- Proficient in SQL databases , handling complex queries and scripting.
- Familiar with Azure DevOps for streamlined project management.

- Strong grasp of IT security principles.
- Experienced in software delivery for multi-client environments.
