Are you an experienced Corporate Solicitor interested in joining and progressing as part of a firm that offers outstanding quality work with a genuine work life balance?
My client is a highly regarded firm with offices across the Southwest, this role is based in their Bristol office. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join the expanding Corporate team. Since the Corporate team was established, they have truly hit the ground running and have developed a credible reputation for high quality advice on a national and global level.
Within this role, the split of work would be 80% Corporate and 20% Commercial and so you would enjoy a variety of matters. Although you would be covering a broad range of industries this team are known for advising nursery and childcare providers as they are a Childcare panel member.
Some examples of work the team have been involved in includes transactions up to the value of £8 billion, shares sales, asset sales and purchases, buy out management, shareholder agreements, corporate support, as well as commercial matters such as commercial contracts, Construction contracts, terms and conditions and more.
The team is led by two city trained Solicitors who decided to trade the busy city lifestyle for a genuine work life balance, without the need to compromise on their quality of work. Both partners are keen for a Solicitor with Corporate experience to join the team and enjoy not only a variety of work but exposure to matters that would otherwise be restricted at larger firms. You would be involved in transactions and matters and would acquire a high level of responsibility from the outset with the support and supervision of the team. This firm is focused on employee progression with one partner having started at the firm as a receptionist! You can quickly progress within this team as they are willing to invest time and support in your career.
In terms of experience level, this role is adaptable. The team have established a number of retainers as well as a fantastic referral rate and so there is the ability to hire at a junior level (a minimum of 6 month seat in Corporate) but also at more of a mid-level.
