About the role
We are looking for an experienced Asset Support Officer to support in maintaining the tracking of all G4S and DWP assets, reflecting this in the Asset Register.
As Asset Support Officer you will be responsible for making arrangements for equipment to be returned in a timely manner from leavers of the business and support of kit deployment and distribution.
Key Accountabilities of this role will include:
Track and monitor a large scale of assets through life, maintaining an inventory of all assets controlled by the business
Follow the IT process, raising tickets for returns devices to be reset before adding them back in to available stock
Support in organising and leading meetings with key stakeholders regarding the Asset Register
Maintain strong communication and working relationships with relevant G4S colleagues and recruitment agencies regarding leavers and kit returns
Support in daily, weekly and monthly analysis reports to be shared amongst the team and stakeholders to track progress
Always maintain client, customer and business confidentiality.
Report any discrepancies or issues related to equipment to the Information Security manager as soon as they are detected.
Liaise with the wider business such as Learning and Development and Systems Managers to support in deployment of kit to new starters
Support with any HR related matters when equipment is not being returned to the business.
To understand the escalation process and implement it when necessary.
To keep up to date and complete training as requested.
Arranging for replacement equipment to be sent out to agents if needed
Accepting delivery of new equipment

Desirable Criteria
Experience of working in a call centre environment
Analytical thinking skills
Experience in Asset Management
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel/Google sheets or similar data capture tools in order to monitor and maintain a database
Ability to support the operational teams with occasional wider support

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven conscientious and well organise approach to workload.
In addition you will have strong communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
