Robert Half are working exclusively with one of our best clients to find a new Finance Business Partner. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be reporting directly into the Head of FP&A whilst also managing one direct report. The Role

In this Finance Business Partner role you will be responsible for (But not limited to):

Finance Business Partner

• Support a cultural change in Finance by engaging and supporting stakeholders in a robust but empathetic manner
• Liaise closely with one of the entity Leadership Team to fully understand and support the entity
• Business Partner with some Head Office functions
• Own the production of the partnered entities and some Head Office functions management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, high quality forecasting and value adding commentary
• Produce a robust annual budget for the partnered entities and some Head Office functions
• Own financial element of the entities annual Business Plan
• Pro active, ad hoc and routine provision of financial and operational analysis and insight across every aspect of the business

Management Accounting, Planning and Forecasting

• Production of monthly management accounts with commentary supported by all Finance Business Partners
• Line manager to Assistant Finance Business Partner
• Overall ownership and development of the General Ledger
• Review and approve certain journal entries and month end reconciliation with emphasis on accruals/prepayments etc.
• Continually review and ensure correct accounting treatment of all revenue and expenditure within the business
• Responsible for consolidation of detailed/bottom up budgeting process and the rolling in year forecast
• Identify and develop process/reporting improvements to increase efficiency within the team and the wider business

The Company

Our client is one of the leaders of the the Education and Training sector, and they are currently looking to fill this crucial area of their finance function. This role will be based at the companies head offices near the Cobham area, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced and proven management accountant who also possesses strong commercial/business partnering experience and is comfortable working regularly with senior company stakeholders.

In order to be considered this candidate must be qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), part-qualified/finalist or QBE (Qualified by experience)

Salary & Benefits

This Finance Business Partner role will be offering up to £65,000 per annum, as well as holiday, pension, private health-care, and further company benefits
