The newly reformed Marketing subject group based within Newcastle University Business School has a positive growth strategy for 2024/2025, as part of this we are looking for committed individuals who can contribute to the dynamic and innovative subject specialisms we have available.
We seek to appoint two colleagues a Professor and a Reader of Digital Marketing - who can demonstrate an outstanding international research reputation, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and with a track record of leadership and academic citizenship. As a senior colleague and academic leader, the successful applicant will engage in high quality research that leads to impact and will help shape and deliver future-facing research strategies.

If successful you will join our successful Marketing subject group of more than 30 colleagues based in Newcastle University Business School. Newcastle University Business School is located in Newcastle City Centre and at the gateway to the Newcastle Helix, a £350million partnership between Newcastle University, Newcastle City Council and Legal and General, where business meets science.
We seek colleagues committed to the success and development of the Marketing Subject Group who will be good citizens that are willing to contribute to positions of responsibility within the group and the school. Our Marketing Subject Group has two successful undergraduate degree programmes and two postgraduate degree programmes that have contributed to our growth. Colleagues will have the opportunity to contribute to the new MSc in Digital Marketing, launching in the 2024/25 academic year.
The Marketing Subject Group has research specialisms in Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Services Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Health Marketing that we seek to strengthen through these new appointments.
