Description:
The
Training Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing training
programs to support cultural change and the ongoing development of employees
within the business. The successful candidate will work closely with department
managers and HR to identify training needs, develop training plans, and deliver
the necessary training in line with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Support
cultural change initiatives by developing and implementing training programs
that align with the company's values and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate
with department managers and HR to identify specific training needs and develop
customized training plans to support cultural change.
- Update
and enhance existing training systems and programs to ensure they align with
industry best practices and support the ongoing development of employees.
- Utilize
a variety of training methods, including workshops, e-learning, on-the-job
training, and classroom-based training to meet the needs of different
employees.
- Evaluate
the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
in support of cultural change and ongoing development.
- Maintain
accurate training records and monitor employee progress and development related
to cultural change initiatives.
- Provide
coaching and support to employees to help them adapt to cultural changes and
achieve their development goals.
- Collaborate
with external training providers and manage relationships with third-party
vendors when updating systems and programs.
Requirements:
- Proven
experience in a training or learning and development role, preferably within
the food manufacturing industry, with a focus on supporting cultural change.
- Strong
understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and change
management concepts.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage
and motivate employees at all levels during cultural change initiatives.
- Experience
in designing and delivering training programs that support cultural change and
align with business objectives.
- Strong
organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise
and manage multiple training initiatives aimed at cultural change and system
updates.
- A
relevant qualification in training and development or a related field is
desirable.
