Credit Controller 
Darlington

Salary up to £28,000

We are looking for a meticulous Credit Controller to manage and oversee our clients credit control processes. Our Client is a well known brand for domestic goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients company's credit policies are followed, debts are recovered promptly, and cash flow is optimized. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing the collection and processing of customer payments ensuring open balances are accurate and up to date.
• Minimising overdue, non-payments and the risk of bad debt so that the business cash flow performance is maximised.
• Reconciliation of the trade debtor ledger on a monthly basis.
• Preparation of weekly targets for inclusion in the cash flow forecast.

Experience required

• Experience in debt recovery, or a similar role within the financial sector.
• Proficiency in negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards within the finance industry.
