This privately owned R&D company have maintained steady growth, doubling in size over the past 8 years and continue to grow at an organic rate. This exciting manufacturing company pride themselves on creating simple, yet robust technological solutions. We are searching for an engineer with a desire to lead both projects and a small software team, with a desire to improve the methodology, resource management and planning of software tasks in the team. You will be working with the R&D Manager to establish realistic and attainable targets, manage deadlines whilst in tandem, mentor and train junior engineers.

For this Software Team Lead, we are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience of writing embedded software in C
• Previous experience leading teams or projects
• Knowledge of ARM based microcontrollers
• Understanding of real-time operating systems
