Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Facade Consultancy – Romsey, Hampshire
Long Term Work
Day Rate up to £350
Blaymires Recruitment is representing the UK’s leading fire safety and facade consultancy based near Romsey, Hampshire who is searching for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor.
The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues.
They are presently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings and they work with a wide range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage cladding upgrades and remedial works to existing buildings.
The Role of the Freelance Quantity Surveyor
The Freelance Quantity surveyor will be responsible for cost control, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting on projects.
The Quantity surveyor will work closely with the project team to ensure that the budget is maintained and appropriate financial plans are in place for each project. Working with project teams on Building Safety Regulator (BSR) requirements.
