Job description

Plumbase are one of the UK’s largest plumbing and heating distributors; and the largest independent merchant with over 320 sites.

They are looking for a starter to join their team as a Trade Counter Apprentice. This is a varied role with plenty of opportunities to develop your customer service, sales skills and product knowledge.

Location: Pant Industrial Estate, Merthyr Tydfil

Apprenticeship Level: Apprenticeship Level 2 or 3 – Customer Service
(dependant on experience)

Hours:
40 hours per week

Pay:£7.20 per hour

Duties
Work as part of the team to ensure we maintain great service for all our customers
Undertake placements in areas of the business to develop your knowledge and skills
Have a structured training programme and development plan in place
Be supported by your manager and training team to help you progress
Essential Criteria
GCSE in English and Maths (Pass – desirable)
No technical experience is required
Desirable Criteria
Enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
A good team player
Able to deal with multiple tasks.
Able to work on your own initiative, with a “can do” positive outlook even when under pressure.
Looking to start a career within a Plumbing and Heating Merchant
