Job description

Our  busy Chiltern Dealership based in Dunstable,  requires an experienced and qualified (level 3) Van Technician to provide a dedicated and professional service to our growing Van customer base in the Dunstable area.

Fixed day shift of 44 hours, Monday to Friday 08.00 to 18.00 with 1 hr for lunch : 

Paying up to  £19.00 pr hr for a 44 hour week plus overtime at time and a half and agreed  Saturday mornings

Duties:

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Renault Standard Times using Renault Special Tools where appropriate.
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
• Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.

Required knowledge & experience:

• LCV Technician – City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent
• Completed an apprenticeship in HGV industry or equivalent experience
• Experience within the commercial vehicle industry – Vans.
