Job description

Main Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the opportunity to hold a key role at a very exciting time for a Trust coming together for the first time operationally to deliver a range of multi-site and specialty service transformation projects and cross cutting schemes. You will lead stakeholder engagement, reporting, planning and delivery of service reconfiguration, CIP (cost improvement programme) realisation and improvement projects across a range of operational areas. You will be working closely with a wide variety of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high quality patient centered service delivery across the organisation. The Trust is currently working with our operational teams to identify the opportunities and focus of the transformation schemes for the next two years. We are also working in partnership with a range of organisations across our local health economy to develop our Strategic Transformation Plan. You will be required to work closely with key stakeholders within the Trust to facilitate the changes required, building strong working relationships and using these to ensure ownership, understanding and delivery of the overall programme. Some of the key stakeholders are listed below: Divisional Directors of Operations Chiefs of Service Associate Directors of Nursing Clinical Business Unit (CBU) Managers Clinical Directors Lead Nurses You will be a key part of the Trusts Operational Transformation Team and you will be accountable to the Chief Operating Officer. On a day to day basis, aligned to the portfolio of schemes you are responsible for, you will have an operational line of responsibility to the relevant CBU Managers and to the relevant Senior Transformation Delivery Manager. You will work closely with the CBU Managers, clinical directors and lead nurses to effect change in a timely way, aligned to the trusts values and governance procedures. There is an overarching CIP programme that will be linked to certain transformation projects and this will be monitored through the Finance team to ensure delivery against plan. You will already be an experienced change agent with a strong and tested skill set in transformation and improvement. You will receive additional support and training to deliver the requirements of the role and to ensure your ongoing professional development. You will also have peer support from your colleagues in the project teams and operational transformation team. This job description outlines the current main responsibilities of the post. However the duties of the post may change and develop over time and this job description may, therefore be amended in consultation with the post holder.
