Job description

The main responsibilities for this post are detailed below, however full details are to be found in the accompanying job description: Act as administrator of the CORS database, including reporting of issues to helpdesk and updating database Provide training on CORS to new staff (clinical/non clinical) Support the ME team to implement changes to statutory requirements (eg reporting of non acute deaths) Ensure all Structured Judgement Review (SJR) notifications are provided for the clinical mortality lead with health records if available Monitor and track SJR review progress, alerting the Trusts Mortality Lead of any non-compliance or risk of breaching the agreed key performance indicator Ensure reporting systems are kept up to date Report LeDeR deaths on national database and support the LeDeR team with their investigation if required Collate reports relating to learning from deaths process utilising CORS database. Work cohesively with Clinical Coding, Health Records, Divisional secretaries, Bereavement Office, multidisciplinary teams, GP practices and clinical leads Support the Trust Mortality Lead and ME team in the production of monthly reports for Learning from Deaths Group Undertake any administrative duties as requested by the Trust Mortality Lead and ME office Support stakeholders with requests for information and support in matters relating to learning from deaths and mortality process Manage workload effectively ensuring deadlines are met and any risks are escalated to the Business Manager, Medical Directorate
