Our exclusive clubhouse in Woodcote Park, Epsom is looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our well established team.
The role is office based 4 days per week in our Epsom clubhouse with 1 day in Pall Mall, London.
Purpose of the role:
As Senior IT Support Engineer you will contribute, as a senior member of the IT Team, to developing the Club’s IT strategy and developing the IT Infrastructure and Support team.
- To manage the Club’s IT Infrastructure, operations and support including the associated vendors. In cooperation with the IT Applications Manager and other Senior Engineers, to deliver a resilient and secure IT service to support both staff and members.
 - Support the day to day provision of the helpdesk service to support Club staff and members and IT providers used by the club.
 - Support the technology and systems used by the Club.
 - Support IT projects with the installation of software, hardware and associated peripheral device drivers.
 - Aid in the production and upkeep of all technical documentation in line with company standards.
 - Assist the Application team were considered necessary.
 
Essentials:
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls and advantage
 - The ability to configure HP and Aruba switches.
 - Knowledge of remote administration /connectivity methods.
 - Knowledge of Microsoft based environments both on-Cloud and on site (Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Exchange).
 - Knowledge of Local Area Networks (HP ProCurve) and Wi-Fi networks.
 - Knowledge of IP telephony solutions (ideally Mitel 3300).
 - Knowledge of communications tools and applications such as MS Teams.
 - Knowledge of collaboration tools SharePoint/Teams.
 
Minimum experience required:
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for technology.
 - Able to follow instructions and documented procedures.
 - Good written communication and telephonic skills.
 - An ability to multitask and prioritise work from the service desk.
