Job Description
Responsible for the implementation, overview, organisation, and delivery of training programmes to improve the knowledge, skills, and competence of Care Professionals. To proactively source, select and build a pipeline of high quality and engaged Care Professionals. To deliver a responsive end to end recruitment service that incorporates a great candidate experience.
- Deliver Induction Training program for all new Care Professionals, ensuring they attain the relevant level of competence to deliver their role.
- Complete on the job competency assessments to ensure Care Professionals have the right skills and knowledge.
- Responsible for delivering training to all Care Professionals, ensuring all relevant refresher training is completed within the correct timescales.
- Identify and agree additional training or development needed to build competence and confidence of Care Professional.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training records and the team's training compliance is up-to date at all time.
- To keep up to date with all new developments in the Health and Social Care Sector and ensure all training materials reflect current legislative requirements.
- Manage all aspects of recruitment activity ensuring compliance with legislation, regulators and Franchise Standards.
- Develop and implement creative recruitment campaigns online and within the local community.
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of sources which produce high quality candidates.
- Develop own networks for sourcing candidates within the local community.
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the Company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Research, plan and successfully execute regular community events including attending fairs, exhibitions, recruitment events and any other appropriate events.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of recruitment related information using the SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Implement and maintain an Employee Referral Scheme tailored to our Care Professionals.
- Optimise the recruitment tools available and keep up to date on best practice approaches.
- Conduct interviews with candidates.
- Ensure all relevant recruitment content is kept up to date.
- Achieve targeted recruitment figures.
- Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Must have relevant training and recruitment experience.
- Full valid driving licence and access to your own car is required.
- A good knowledge of health and social care.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Good understanding of legislation relating to recruitment including Enhanced Criminal Record checks, referencing and Right to Work checks.
- Understanding of candidate screening and selection processes.
- Flexibility to work outside 9am-5pm Monday to Friday to meet the demands of the business and possible travel to other sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and motivate others, helping them to achieve their potential.
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite, working with databases and virtual communication platforms with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies where appropriate.
