We are seeking an Accounts Assistant for our Greenwich head office, the role will initially be fixed term full time 01/042024 - 30/09/2024 with a potential to become full time.
Responsibilities - To match the purchase invoices to purchase orders and post the purchase invoices on our bookkeeping software.
- To liaise with suppliers and staff in resolving queries relating to the Purchase Ledger or payment of suppliers.
- To reconcile Aged Creditors to the Nominal ledger and relevant statements, investigating differences and correcting as necessary.
- To maintain and reconcile petty cash.
- To reconcile card expenses.
- To organise and maintain the relevant filing of documents.
- To assist the Financial Controller as directed, or to undertake duties stipulated by the Financial Controller or the Directors.
Education /Qualification Skills and Experience Essential - Previous working experience or actively working towards an accounting qualification.
- Typing skills
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- The ability to learn new software programmes as you will need to use our bespoke software.
Desirable, but not essential: - Previous experience working in Accounts Payable roles
- Experience in Sage Accounts
Additional Information Salary: £24,000 per annum depending on experience

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30
