Location: Peabody Housing Association

Working hours:Fulltime, Hybrid – 2 days in office one of which is Tuesday. 9am – 5pm.

Role Purpose:   

As a People Operations Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day processes within our People Operations (POPS) department. Your responsibilities will include maintaining strong relationships with internal colleagues, providing timely customer service, and resolving People transactions and administration queries efficiently. You'll handle tasks throughout the colleague lifecycle and ensure adherence to service level agreements. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to and resolve tier 1 support queries from colleagues/stakeholders, keeping them updated on task statuses. 

- Utilise People systems effectively to access relevant data and manage high volume transactions. 

- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver services using best practices and innovation. 

- Coach managers and colleagues on using intranet People tools and guides, and educate on People XD processes. 

- Ensure accurate entry of colleague records, transfers, benefits, and changes in People systems. 

- Partner with PACT team members to address queries and maintain data integrity. 

- Manage document management processes within the People Operations Team. 

- Support continuous service improvement initiatives within People Operations, Systems & Data. 

- Assist with compliance for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) requirements.

- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR norms.

About You:

You are: 

- Highly organised and self-motivated. 

- Capable of managing large volumes of processing. 

- Adaptable and flexible with excellent multitasking abilities. 

- Able to work independently with good judgment. 

- Committed to upholding policies and procedures for consistent practice. 

 
Requirements:

- Experience in a generalist role within a busy People Department. 

- Understanding of People processes, legislation, and confidentiality. 

- Strong time management and prioritisation skills. 

- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer care and value diversity. 

- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially MS Excel and MS Word. 

- Previous experience in People or L&D administration within a fast-paced environment.
